Camilleri Art Original Oil Paintings
Original oil paintings are not mass produced nor are they a reproduction of someone else's artwork. They are oil paintings which are hand painted, of original composition, and are one of a kind. If you are looking for a piece of quality art that you can hang in your house or an office and enjoy for many years to come, then you have come to the right place. All of my paintings are 100% hand painted gallery quality oil paintings and are signed by me.
The scenes I paint are of places I have visited over the years and reflect my best interpretation of the scene while maintaining a true likeness of the subject matter. My current work includes scenes from Tuscany and Malta.
I only sell original artwork using the best products including professional oil colors and top-of-the-line stretched canvas on good quality wood frames. The canvas is made of 100% natural cotton and is double primed.
All paintings are dated and signed by me and include a detailed printed description of the scene.
I add paintings regularly so come back and visit often!
I can also turn your favorite landscape picture into a painting.

I welcome art commissions of landscape subjects. I will do a special oil painting just for your enjoyment. Consider photographs of places you have visited or would like to visit someday, or perhaps you'd like a painting of your home. See the instructions below on what I will need from you before I can get started on your special oil painting.
Instructions
If you have a special painting in mind contact me! I will be happy to do a special oil painting just for you. All I need to get started is a good photograph of the subject you would like a painting of and a small non-refundable deposit which is applied toward the total purchase price of your painting. You'll find me easy to work with and my prices are reasonable.
If you see a painting in my collection you like, but that painting has already sold or you would like it in a different size, I will be happy to do a reproduction painting or a similar one of it for you as a commissioned oil painting. Please note, I will only do a reproduction or similar painting of my own work. I will do a painting with the same subject matter as another artist's painting but I will not copy the work of other artists.
I'll work hard to give you a painting you'll love and be proud of. However, if for any reason you are not happy with the finished piece, you are not obligated to purchase the painting. Contact me when you're ready to commission me to do a special painting for you.
When you contact me be sure to include the following information. It will assist me with your quote.
What is the size of the painting you have in mind? (Standard canvas sizes include: 8x10; 9x12; 11x14; and 16x20)
What is the subject matter? (Mountain, trees, park, etc.) Be descriptive, or better yet, send me a digital photo you want a painting of via email.
Include anything else you feel I might need to know.
What I need from you:
Start with a sharp, in-focus photo of the subject matter as you want it to appear in your painting. This photo should be one you are completely happy with. If not provide another one you are happy with or be very specific regarding what changes you want made to the subject matter contained within the photo.
Please keep in mind I will attempt to create your painting as true to the photo as I possibly can unless you specify otherwise.
Your deposit. This small non-refundable deposit will be applied toward the total purchase price of your painting. You are not obligated to purchase the painting if you are not happy with it. However the deposit is non-refundable. The deposit covers the cost of materials used to begin your painting.
How fast can I do your custom painting? You no doubt want a piece of fine art. Although I will work as quickly as I possibly can, please keep in mind that finishing your painting will take some time. Your patience will ensure I create a painting you will be happy with and bring you years of enjoyment.
Since I work with oil paints, drying time varies with each painting. Your painting will not be packaged and shipped before it is dry enough to ensure that it does not get damaged. You don't want any surprises when you unpack your painting the day it arrives.
